I was never Daddy’s little girl.

As a child, Mother was the word for God. I was always attached to my mum’s hip; my younger sister, Cheryl being the more rambunctious one. I, on the other hand, was quiet and timid. Mum’s shy little angel … until I hit 13. ;) At which point I’d suddenly morphed into a wilful disobedient hormonal little monster and decided I wasn’t gonna listen to my mum’s second husband anymore. He’s not my Dad! ha! And I ran away from home.

In retrospect, and I’m sure everybody feels this way, I just can’t believe whatta handful I was in my teens! My god man. Is it any wonder I’m still childless at this point in my life. I can’t imagine dealing with a crazy kid like me. ha

My Mum did it tho. She’s tough like that. She’s brave like that. She’s a Gemini. Bright, pretty, clever, tenacious, supportive, beguiling, shy, flirty, intuitive, unpredictable, sensitive and wildly adventurous. I like to think I’m just like her. Mommy’s little princess. (She’s the Queen, of course. ;))
